The PTO is a major support group for Fort Jones Elementary staff and students. Through fund-raising efforts, the PTO provides monetary support in areas of need like classroom supplies and equipment. They supplement student-based community efforts like the Scott Valley Swimming Pool and Resource Center, as well as provide the recognition of the Scott Valley Veteran's through a service luncheon each year. Their assistance plays an important roll in filling budget gaps that all California schools are facing.
