County Superintendent of Schools (either Kate E. Horn, or W. L. Kleaver) and County Librarian (unknown) on the way to Somes Bar from Forks of Salmon to visit schools. During winter season, books were carried by pack mule beyond the Salmon Mountain up the Cecilville Road to Black Bear Mine, Cecilville School and Ball Horne Deposit (note from Jund 4, 1929 on photo back).
